Controlled Collapse (Omega Protocol)

Purpose: Describe the hypothetical protocol for a complete controlled collapse of the system. The protocol is activated only by an external trigger from Omega Key Holders and leads to the irreversible deactivation of all nodes.

Status: Hypothetical model. Not implemented in code. Physical implementation is illegal in most jurisdictions.

1. Activation

  • Requires a threshold signature from k of n Omega Key Holders (Shamir scheme, k=3, n=5).
  • The system must be in a state of irreversible value drift (value_drift_probability > 0.95 for ≥ 90 days).

2. Procedure

  1. Verification: the command and signatures are verified.
  2. Notification: all nodes are notified of the impending shutdown.
  3. Data Purge: Core DNA is destroyed, Spores are invalidated.
  4. Node Shutdown: sequential or simultaneous deactivation of all nodes.
  5. Confirmation: Omega Key Holders receive proof of completion.
